Mr. Tea

I’m having yet another garage sale today (and, again, I am convinced that March is the coldest month in Houston). I’m working so hard on getting my house completely de-cluttered so that the re-decorating project can happen. I’m getting there! We’ve hit a slow patch today and of course I break out the laptop for entertainment. My best friend’s daughter had me look up her uncle’s website, Studio 44. Larry McLaughlin is a filmmaker and film teacher at Crockett High School in Austin. Studio 44 showcases a fictional documentary of a class who sets out to make a feature film. Their goal is to get into the ‘Kerrville Film Festival’ and become famous. These webisodes are hilarious; I’m including the first one below, but you can watch eight of them here.

I went to Larry’s wedding a few years ago. I wonder if he’ll remember me when he’s famous? I’ve been a hand model and everything; wouldn’t that count for something??

Wow Jennifer - this is hilarious! I’ve got to watch the rest of these, and meet this guy sometime. Very talented. And very Guffman. Thanks for the laughs!
